If the Commodity you seek to buy or sell is listed within the Platform's range, but possesses distinctive physicochemical, microbiological, or other attributes, kindly specify these particulars on the Product Sheet, which accompanies the Firm Bid launch.

The launch of a Firm Bid and counter-proposals are anonymous. Once the Firm Bid is confirmed, contact details of the Buyer and Seller are transmitted by AVF to both parties.

The AVF Platform operates on the principle of a 24 hour firm and irrevocable offer. The first confirming agreement to 100% of the firm offer characteristics secures the transaction. The AVF Platform then transmits the contact details for the Buyer and the Seller to finalise their commercial contract. This approach reduces prospecting and negotiation costs and above all, saves time.

A counter proposal may be submitted during the Firm Bid's last two hours. The counterproposal may address one or more Firm Bid characteristics, but under no circumstances may it involve the price. Once the counterproposal is transmitted to the Firm Bid Launcher, the latter must respond during the validity period of the Firm Bid. No response by the Launcher within the validity period means there is no Firm Bid.

In this case, you should initiate a Firm Bid encompassing all aspects of the original Firm Bid with the price that suits you. The new Firm Bid will be transmitted to all Members potentially interested in buying or selling the Commodity in question. It will not be exclusively sent to the original Firm Bid Launcher whose offer caught your attention.

Once the Firm Bid is confirmed, the Commission to the AVF Platform is paid by the Seller.

Once you are a Member of the AVF Platform, you simply need to fill out the transportation Firm Bid form, specifying all the characteristics of the goods to be transported, the targeted price, and the required commercial conditions and launch the Firm Bid.

We are sorry but the AVF Platform does not currently offer freight transportation insurance.
